About Us
The Tullahoma Utilities Board is an independent agency of the city of Tullahoma, Tennessee, and provides electricity, water and wastewater services to the residents of Tullahoma and parts of the surrounding area.
TUB is a municipal public utility owned by the customers its serves. A distributor of TVA power, with rates among the lowest in the country, TUB currently serves nearly 10,200 electric customers. TUB purchases wholesale water from the Duck River Utility Commission to serve its 9,300 water customers. TUB’s wastewater treatment facility accommodates nearly 7,200 sewer customers.
Brian Skelton serves as TUB's general manager. Brian Coate serves as the manager of the electric department. Serving as administrative manager/comptroller is Dwight Miller, and manager of the water/wastewater department is Scott Young.
Serving on the Board are Fred Nelms, Chairman, Robert Van Patten, Vice Chairman,
Duane Thorpe, Director, Dick Fewell, Director, Mike Norris, Direcotr and Alderman. Board meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. and are always open to the public. For more information on TUB, please give us a call at 455-4515.
