Water Heater Rebate

Water heater rebates are available now!

The time has never been better to replace that old, inefficient natural gas water heater with a high-efficiency, safe and soot-free electric one! The Tullahoma Utilities Board offers rebates to homeowners, landlords and small business owners who install electric water heaters in their homes. The amount of the rebate depends on the efficiency of the unit. 

The rebate guidelines are as follows:
    • $25 for a standard electric-to-electric change-out
    • $50 for an electric-to-electric change-out with a .90 energy factor
    • $75 for an electric-to-electric change-out with a .90 energy factor and a lifetime tank warranty
    • $150 for a standard installation in a new home
    • $200 for a new home installation with a .90 energy factor
    • $250 for a new home installation with a .90 energy factor and a lifetime tank warranty
    • $150 for a standard gas-to-electric conversion
    • $160 for a gas-to-electric conversion with a .90 energy factor
    • $175 for a gas-to-electric conversion with a lifetime warranty tank
To apply for rebates, bring your receipt by our office at 901 S. Jackson St., Tullahoma within 90 days of the purchase. Certain restrictions apply.
