What is Weather Web?

Weather Web is an automated weather station located at 901 South Jackson Street that automatically uploads to our ISP the current weather conditions every 5 minutes.

Why is the time it shows sometimes older than 5 minutes?

Weather Web attempts to upload every 5 minutes. However, if it can't connect for any reason, it waits another 5 minutes before it tries again.

Is the Weather Web data the same as the official National Weather Service data?

No. This equipment is completely different than the equipment used by TUB for National Weather Service reporting.

Is the Weather Web information accurate?

We believe it is - however this information is not endorsed by the National Weather Service and TUB makes no claims concerning the accuracy of the Weather Web information. Weather Web is provided as a courtesy to our customers and anyone else interested in almost real-time weather information in Tullahoma.
